The heaviness of over-sized breasts can disrupt a woman’s balance and posture, which in turn may cause aches and other conditions.
Certain factors including pregnancy, ageing and ill-fitting underwear can cause breasts to sag or droop. A Breast Lift raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.
Breast reconstruction is the creation of a new breast shape (mound) using surgery. Surgery can be done many months or even years after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. During reconstruction, a plastic surgeon creates a breast shape using an artificial implant (implant reconstruction), a flap of tissue from another place on your body (autologous reconstruction), or both.
